“To lie is to create an alternative that may not have existed before. ‘You’re dog ate your homework,’ opens up a new route in your day: instead of receiving an “F” on the assingment you get another day to do it. But, that’s assuming you’ve convinced your audience that your alternative is the truth. The key to this new hanle on life is to make it true in your own complicated mind. If it’s true to you than there’s no way to argue a lie with anyone else.”
“But what if I foret what’s true and what’s a lie?” He inquires, with a deep expression of exhaustion set under his eyes.
“Then, you forget. If you lust for a way around rules, mistakes or even fate, you must learn to live with a lie and all the intricate knots that come with it.” With that he took his dark blue backpack, worn from years of use and misuse, and walked out of the picture frame that was his own curiosity.
